Minitab, a statistical software company, needed reliable analytics and an extra pair of experienced AEM hands for its web content team, including hosting a second site on its existing AEM platform.

Challenge

• Gaps and discrepancies in Adobe Analytics reporting, including unspecified marketing channels and search keywords
• An analytics setup that needed to work correctly with OneTrust consent management
• A second site, datasaurus.org, to host on the same AEM platform
• Component updates (case studies, events) and build issues to resolve alongside day-to-day work

Approach

• Audited the Adobe Analytics and data collection implementation and delivered documented issues and recommendations
• Fixed data collection issues related to consent management and reviewed library publishing in Adobe Data Collection
• Designed and supported multi-tenant hosting for datasaurus.org in AEM
• Updated the case studies and events components and handed over cleaned, reviewed code
• Resolved multi-tenant build and translation-connector issues and maintained build reports

Results

• A clear, documented roadmap for fixing and extending Minitab's analytics
• A second site running on the existing AEM platform
• Updated components delivered to Minitab's web team
• Development obstacles cleared for the team throughout the year
